If you purchase the Scolia Home 2 system without a light ring, you will need a Winmau Plasma light surround. Note that the Scolia Home 2 does not include the dartboard, surround, or light ring. Ensure your dartboard has standard large numbers; for example, the Target Aspar board is not compatible with the Scolia system.

The Scolia Home 2 requires a standard dartboard with traditional dimensions, colors, and a metal number ring. Additionally, you will need a standard PU Surround and a sturdy wall (preferably brick or concrete) with a flat surface around the dartboard. No cable is needed for the internet connection, as the Scolia Home 2 works wirelessly. A Powerline adapter can be used for a more stable connection if necessary.

Differences Between the Scolia Home 2 and the Scolia Pro

The Scolia Pro is designed for use in pubs and bars. This model is securely attached to the wall, making it difficult to steal. Additionally, the Scolia Pro is built to withstand more wear and tear. Its advanced software offers greater accuracy in scoring, making it ideal for professional and heavy use environments.

The Scolia Home 2, on the other hand, is much cheaper and more suitable for home use. It operates on simpler software, making it less accurate than the Pro version. Moreover, the Home 2 is not mounted to the wall but attached to the dartboard, making it easier to steal. This model is also more prone to damage, making it less suitable for heavy use.
